In case you missed the move, Tyson Ross has been sent down to AAA. To fill the "Ross" quota on the roster, he will be replaced by Ross Wolf (acquired in the Jake Fox trade to fill the "animal" quota).
The A's try to salvage the series tonight as they send Gio Gonzalez to the mound in search of a win against the surging Yankees. The A's have only managed to score a single run in each of the first two game in this series, and they are hoping to change that pattern against A.J. Burnett tonight.
