I don't know if the A's what have what it takes to win the American League West this year.
The fact we are entertaining the idea with nearly four full months in the books is not only a refreshing reversal from seasons past, but it's pretty darn exciting. That I do know.
Yes, I'm aware that "even if the A's play .600 ball the rest of the way", all the Rangers have to do is blah, snooze, snore. Including tonight, there are 11 games left against the front-runners from Texas, and if Oakland takes, say 7 of them, things can get interesting in a hurry.
Just saying.
Tonight it's Vin Mazzaro taking the mound for the visiting A's, opposite C.J. Wilson.
