The A's send Ben Sheets to the mound hoping to recover from last night's loss against the hated Red Sox as they continue what has been a very successful, but long road trip. The 4th place Red Sox (has a nice ring to it yes?) will trot out Dice K who brings a 3-2 record into the game with an ERA of nearly 6. After a rough start to the year, Sheets has found his groove allowing an average of 2 earned runs per start over his last 5 outings. Of Sheets' 232 career starts, exactly zero of them have come against Boston.
Kevin Kouzmanoff gets only his second night off of the year with Adam Rosales filling in at 3B. On the flip side, Victor Martinez and his 5-5 from last night are riding the pine for the Sox.
