Cahill Dominates O's While A's Offense Explodes

Run Support! I love you, offense!

Well, it wasn't a perfect game, but it was pretty darn close (and it still counts as a win!) as the A's finally: a) won a game on the road and b) hit a homerun, things they haven't been doing a whole lot of lately. Cahill improved to over .500 in his season W/L record with the win tonight, throwing six strong innings. Although he walked three batters (he also K'd three), he only allowed two hits--a solo homerun his only blemish on the night. Blevins and Ziegler finished the game (Blevins struck out 4 in his 2 innings) and the A's secured the win.

Meanwhile, the A's offense put on quite a show; kicking Matusz out of the game after five innings, eight hits and six runs. Or more specifically, tonight was the Rajai and Rosales show as Davis stole three bases and Rosales collected 4 RBI. Daric Barton recorded another sac bunt, but we won't talk about that, happy thread!

Gio Gonzalez tries to win the series for the A's tomorrow as we do it all again!
