With the next playoff game still a few hours away, I wanted to take a moment to thank our front page writers for all they've done this year.
Being a front page writer is harder than it may look. It means sometimes rearranging your life for AN because it's "your day." It means finding 23 different ways to say, "Well the pitching's pretty good but the offense sure sucks." It means being original, interesting, creative, funny, poignant, and thorough, and doing it once a week not just once in a while. And let's face it, sometimes it means putting up with a lot of crap.
I've been thrilled with this crew, and want to publicly acknowledge how reliable, consistent, and thought-provoking emperor nobody, danmerqury, baseballgirl, 67MARQUEZ, and jeffro have been with posts, game threads, and recaps. The front page writers are the backbone of AN, and we're better off than your average Eric Chavez. Thank you, "fronties," for all your great work, and the heart and soul you put into AN.
