The A's recorded a good win on Monday; they lost a good game last night, and now go for the series win this morning. Vin Mazzaro will try to win another game, and Jason Berken (whose W/L record looks suspiciously like Mazzaro's at 2-9) will try to stop him.
The A's have had considerable success against Baltimore (who are we kidding; so has everyone), but more importantly; they are playing well right now, even in the loss last night. True to his word, Geren is giving Suzuki the day off; to be coupled with the club's first scheduled day off in forever, which will happen tomorrow. Powell will be catching, as Mazzaro and the A's try to win another series.
