Hey, no sweep! After Monday's wildly improbable come-from-WAY-behind victory (if you haven't seen the WinExp graph, you should!), the A's dropped a close one in extra innings last night, evening the series a one game apiece. The series win is now in the hands of Trevor Cahill, who has been less than impressive in his last four starts. (Okay, he's been fairly terrible.) According to Bob Geren, Cahill had a strong bullpen session before Monday's game, so we'll see if that translates to today's contest.
The A's will be facing LHP Glen Perkins (5-5, 4.75), who is making his first start against the A's in his career. Which A's offense will show up? The one that collected 22 hits on Monday night, or the other one? Powell and Davis make appearances in this one.
