Open Thread: Game 54 - A's vs. Twins

Mazzaro World continues tonight as the A's take on the Twins, going for their eighth straight win! The A's really need to take things one game at a time, but it just feels like the energy has changed. This team is starting to play like they know they can win. Down 3-0? No problem; we'll come right back. Every pitcher out there yesterday cared about the outcome of the game, and the rookie starting staff is staging a great competition for our benefit.

Tonight it's Brett Anderson's turn. Anderson is coming off a fantastic start against the White Sox his last time out, and he looks to match his own start, and keep the A's streak alive. The A's resurgent offense will be facing RHP Scott Baker.
