The A's try to start another winning streak tonight as they continue their four-game series with Minnesota. They will send Dallas Braden to the mound, following his great start last week. Braden has quietly become a solid starter for the A's, and as the 'veteran' of the staff, he has a chance to keep things rolling for the green and gold, who have played like a competitive baseball team in the month of June.
The A's offense, who has struggled as of late--last night's ninth inning surge notwithstanding--will try to help Braden out tonight. It's nice to see Aaron Cunningham back in the lineup after his scare on Monday, and we can hope good things for the Crosby/Cunningham/Davis/Hannahan combo against the LHP Francisco Liriano. Let's go Oak-land!
