Open Thread: Game 27 - A's vs. Jays

The Oakland Athletics, fresh off their first win in almost a week, take on the Toronto Blue Jays tonight in your Friday night entertainment game thread. Is everyone here? Who's in charge of drinks?

Josh Outman, coming off a great start of his own, tries to go back to back, as he faces a very good Toronto lineup.

Outman sounds confident:

"I wasn't starting," Outman said. "I was in the bullpen, but I didn't get used much. It's the way it worked out, but for me, in my own mind, it was kind of, 'Am I good enough to pitch still?'

"Having an outing like that let's me know I can pitch here, I can do this. I'm ready to go now."

Can the offense repeat even half of what they did yesterday? Will the night air be an issue in Oakland tonight? Can the A's win two games in a row?
