April is all about "firsts" and yesterday the A's got their first...win during the day time (!) following 6 "nice try, no cigar" efforts. Today, Dana Eveland, he of the 2.32 WHIP (!) tries to get himself, and the A's, back on track with a series win, the first win by a starter other than Dallas Braden (!), and a two-game winning streak. Baby steps... Eveland is opposed by Andy Sonnanstine.
I'm at the game, so apologies in advance that the game recap will be a bit later than usual - probably an hour or so after the game ends. Hopefully it will be a celebratory recap, though, which is always worth waiting for!
