Yesterday, the A's didn't score a run but had a far better excuse than usual because the game was rained out. Today, weather permitting, Dana Eveland squares off against Andy Pettitte, as Oakland tries to find a way to solve left-handed pitching - and specifically Pettitte, who owns a 3.27 ERA against the A's in 19 career starts.
With yesterday's unscheduled off day, another one coming up Thursday, and the likelihood that Josh Outman's turn will be skipped this week, the A's bullpen should be deep and well rested behind Eveland today and Brett Anderson tomorrow.
WHERE THE F*** IS TRAVIS BUCK?????????????
Hey, that rhymes.
