Things look bleak for our heroes early in the game; Outman has struggled through been terrible for three innings, allowing two more homeruns to the Blue Jays' total, and a lot of other assorted hits and runs. He has not been helped; 2 errors have added to the deficit. The A's scraped out a run of their own on a weak grounder in the first, but have been taking early swings against the wild Blue Jays' rookie.
