Following a hot start that included three home runs by the A's in the first two innings, The A's squandered a 4-0 lead and trailed by a run heading to the fifth. After going back on top, we head to the bottom of the inning with Oakland up 10-5 thanks in large part to a bases-clearing double by Mark Ellis.
Meanwhile, the United States holds a 6-5 lead over Canada in the ninth inning with J.J. Putz on to try to close it out and he's making an adventure out of it, allowing back-to-back doubles to score a run. No Brad Ziegler at this point.
