Hi, A's, this is Joe Blanton.
So, I was watching last night's game, and you know, there was this inning, see, where you scored six runs. Yeah, that's right, six runs. In one inning. Now look, I've already lost eight games this year, and in those games, you've only given me about 2 and a half runs per game in those losses. So, cough it up.
I'm the leader of this rotation, and no, my season hasn't been perfect. I've got a 4.15 ERA, and a WHIP of 1.36, but my K/BB ratio is 2-1, right where it should be, and I've been known to get a bunch of ground balls when I need to. So I'll tell you what. I'll do my part, to get these Yankees out of here, and for once can you do yours?
I mean, Andy Pettitte, right? How old is that guy? He gave up like 10 runs to the freakin' Royals last time out. So... see what you can do.
