Well, here we are, at the part of the season that will decide the remaining games...will the A's be buyers or sellers?
One team is hard enough to catch; let alone two, and the A's are in danger every day of falling out of the race completely. They simply must put together some wins, starting with the game today--the last game before the All-Star Break.
They have a good shot on the mound, as Joe Blanton, who has been amazing for the last month, faces off against LHP Ryan Feierabend, someone the A's haven't seen before. Here's to good pitching from Blanton, and timely hitting from the offense.
One day at a time. That's all we still have left. The Angels are losing big right now, so with a win, we can knock a game off in the standings.
