Korach just mentioned on the broadcast that Melhuse is Texas-bound. Who gets called up? Does Kendall start sitting more often?
Update: Kurt Suzuki being called up, to be with the parent club tomorrow.
My take on this: I don't understand how or why Beane would call Suzuki up over the other options and not give him some regular playing time. I think this would also fit in with Beane's historical approach to in-season roster management by "thirds": with over 1/3 of the season gone, perhaps Beane has made the assessment that Kendall's current perf level is all we're gonna get the rest of the way, and that it's finally time for him to sit more often.
