Well, the Bradley-less, but Harden-full A’s fly to New York to take on the city’s red-headed step-child, the Mets, in what promises to be an exciting and fun-filled series. Okay, I may have made that last part up.
Travis Buck, Shannon Stewart, and Eric Chavez! are back in the lineup today, and we’re back to the insufferable ‘pitchers have to hit’ rules, so DiNardo will be trying to keep the Mets off the board, while trying to help the A’s score. Dan Johnson takes a seat again.
On the other side of the hill is some no-name pitcher...um...Tom...Glavine, or some such. I’m sure we can beat him.
Seriously, though. This is a good chance for our AL-biased selves to see Jose Reyes, who is just an amazing player. Of course, I hope he’s terrible against us, so you may have to watch him another time.
