We got out-pitched today. We also got out-hit 11-2. That might not be the combination to a winning game. Tip your hat to Morris, leave the weekend with a series win, and start again tomorrow. The A's don't need to win every game; just series after series, and they certainly won this one. Eventually the Angels will lose, and we can begin to make up some ground. Our starting pitching is still getting the job done, we hope for our offense to be just good enough, and we hope someday to have someone to pitch the ninth. I don't ask for much.
In other news, what on earth did we do to the Dodgers? They were a big, fat help to our cause this weekend.
Tomorrow starts another series as we fly to Chicago to take on the White Sox. Game time tomorrow is at 5:11.
