Open Thread: Game 27 - A's at Red Sox (cont)

Through the 7th inning stretch, the A's trail the New England Patriots Red Sox 4-3. Some surprises in this game include Jason Kendall knocking in 2 to tie the game up in the 5th, and Dan Johnson batting a whopping .348 in his short time in the big leagues thus far. Not a surprise? Mike Lowell's takedown of Piazza makes it look as if yet another A could be "day to day".

And if you're watching the bottom of the 7th and cringing over the "defense" of Shannon Stewart on that single and Kendall's bounced throw to 2nd letting Lowell get out of a run down, it's time to move on to a new thread! Go A's!
