Open Thread: Game 5 - A's at Angels

What do you mean, “Joe Kennedy can’t beat the Angels”? I think you mean, “Joe Kennedy is sooooooo due!” Sure, Kennedy vs. LAA conjures up memories of the beginning of the end of the 2005 pennant hopes, sure he’s 0-8 lifetime against the Angels with an ERA just a shade below “sideways 8,” but if you have to throw your 5th starter against your chief rival, what better circumstances than to do it matched up against your rival’s #7 starter? That would be right-hander Dustin Moseley, whose recent resume includes AAA ERAs of 4.65, 5.03, and 4.69, and a major league ledger of allowing 11 ER, on 22 hits, in 11 innings. It’s like Joe Kennedy is pitching against himself!

Here’s the lineup “lefty Kennedy” and “righty Kennedy” will be facing. Note: Milton Bradley is a late scratch with "soreness in his right side"...
