Open Thread: Game 25 - A's vs. Devil Rays

Welcome to the rubber game of the series today between the A's and Rays, where the A's will try to win a series in which they've probably already outscored their opponent. Unfortunately, when you score all your weekly-alloted runs in one game, it doesn't make the rest of the games any more fun.

Here's to changing that trend, and putting up just enough runs on the board to take the series today.

Sadly, the A's aren't facing Fossum again today; they will be trying their bats against Kazmir. He will be facing Dallas Braden, making his first home start for the A's. I'm hoping for another jaunt from Dallas to Huston.

LET'S GO OAKLAND!

Update: The Cardinals/Cubs game scheduled for tonight has been postponed, due to the death of Cardinals' relief pitcher Josh Hancock last night. Our thoughts and prayers are certainly with his family at this time.
