Smoaking Splits

A colleague of mine named Jeff Sackmann, who runs Beyond the Boxscore and developed the incredible Minor League Splits database, has done it again. He's come up with a site that gives fans a college player splits database.

You can even look up the much-ballyhooed Justin Smoak and see that he's gotten off to a bit of a slow start. Although his OBP is mammoth.

Still, this is a great site to follow some college players that you might be interested in.

Oh, and it's too bad that Smoak didn't sign with the A's. He'd given people with lame headline writing abilities a whole boatload of easy ones. "Smoaking the Yankees", "Smoaking Hot" and one of my faves if he happened to hit one into the water at AT&T Park..."Smoak in the Water."
