The A's look to rebound after a dismal night in which everything seemed to go awry. Pitching and hitting just weren't there after a four-game hitting streak. Course much of that had to do with nemesis Jake Westbrook.

This could be Saarloos last turn in the rotation. Maybe ever, if Harden comes back healthy and the A's don't bring Saarloos back next year. He deserves a lot of credit for performing above his head in many ways and it'd be nice for him to walk off the mound a winner. Just pull a Westbrook, Kirk.
The Angels have been outhit in Kansas City 7-2, yet they are winning the game against the Royals 2-1.
