The A's and Danny Haren with a 4-4 record and a 3.91 ERA take on Royals and Setherton, who has no record this year.
It's interesting that Etherton will get a chance to face the A's who let him go. I never like those situations, even with someone like Etherton. We've all see Bonderman and his approach when he faces the A's. You get extra zip on the fastball and the incentive seems to be higher.
Any way, the A's send out this lineup tonight:
Kendall
Swisher
Kotsay
Chavez
Thomas
Crosby
Payton
Johnson
Ellis
Kendall is starting to look like he's becoming ensconced in that leadoff spot again, which is fine with me because he's doing what he is supposed to this year and that's get on base. Please keep Crosby hitting sixth, even if he has a great series this weekend. Please?
The Royals lineup looks like this:
DeJesus
Grudzielanek
Mientkiewicz
Brown
Stairs
Graffanino
Costa
Buck
Blanco
I never like these series because the A's should sweep. And you just never know because it's baseball.
LET'S GO A'S!!!!!!!
