When you see the A's lineup, it's hard to know whether to root for a game or the rain. The weather gods saved the A's once, that's for sure.
It is arguable that each team's injured players would outperform each team's actual lineup today. Unfortunately, even without Sheffield and Matsui, the Yankees have plenty of punch. With the A's, it's not that the lineup is dreadful so much as any part of it could be the 6-7-8.
Barry Zito has come up big a couple times lately. He'll try to go both long and good again against the sinkerballer, Chien Ming Wang.
