I just wanted to drop a quick note and let everyone know that I'm going to the Coliseum to pick up the eight tickets for 40 games tomorrow from our A's ticket rep.
Then, I'll be making my way to Sports4Kids to drop off 30 games worth of tickets. Once I'm finished there, I'm going to drop off the remaining tickets at the 24-Hour Children's Shelter in Oakland.
In all, we finished with $5,080 total, which is a remarkable total in such a short time. I wish I could bring everyone with me to drop the tickets off, but instead Sports4Kids has promised to have some of the recipients of the tickets write letters throughout the season to thank you for the experience. I hope this will help make everyone realize what a great thing you did here.
