So, yeah, I was in Borders yesterday looking to pick up the new Baseball Prospectus 2006. While it hasn't hit the shelves yet in Sacramento, I did happen to find this gem of a book. The irony of it made me laugh out loud.
I think I understand why Joe Morgan is so anti-Moneyball. It's called book envy.
One of the quotes on the cover is from Sparky Anderson saying, "Joe Morgan is one of the most intelligent players ever." Notice he didn't say analyst. Hmmmmmm.
