I just figured I'd drop a note here since I was getting a lot of emails about this. AN was running slow yesterday and early this morning. It's apparently still running slowly for some folks.
But the problem should be resolved shortly. It was related to the blogads strip underneath the logo. The DNS feed was slowed and blogads was very apologetic for the problem. It should be working fine for some, but some might still be experiencing a bit of a slowdown just because it takes as long as 24 hours once the problem is fixed.
I apologize profusely for this issue. We also recently increased our server memory so the intermittent server problems we once had shouldn't be happening any longer.
By the way, AN crossed the two million visitor threshold recently and I failed to mention it. So, thanks for being a part of this community and thanks for your patience with any technological problems.
