The A's and Barry Zito with an 11-8 record and a 3.62 ERA take on the Orioles and Rodrigo Lopez with an 11-6 record and a 4.77 ERA.
The A's welcome back two fan favorites in Miguel Tejada and Eric Byrnes. Byrnes is leading off for the Orioles and I imagine he will get quite the warm welcome.
Lopez is a mystery. He can either be dominant or very hittable. We'll see which version the A's get tonight. I'm hoping the Baltimore pitching will help wake up the A's offense.
The A's lineup looks like this:
I give Macha a lot of credit for switching up the lineup, but how can you sit Ellis? He's one of the hottest hitters right now and frankly one of the only A's who has been hot since the All Star break. Matt Watson gets into the lineup in place of the struggling Bobby Kielty, which is a smart move.
The Orioles counter with this lineup:
The Orioles offense should be a good test for the A's pitching. Let's start a new streak of series wins tonight.
LET'S GO A'S!!!!!!!
