The A's and Barry Zito with an 11-8 record and a 3.65 ERA take on the Angels Angels and Ervin Santana with a 6-5 record and a 4.91 ERA.
The last time the A's faced Santana, he went seven innings and only allowed four hits and two runs. Barry Zito has won his last eight decisions and is pitching remarkably well.
Something's gotta give. I was just listening to the manager's show on the radio and Ken Macha was saying that the scouting report for Santana said to expect nothing but fastballs. That's not what the A's got last time. Expect them to adjust.
The A's lineup looks like this:
The injuries remain in play, but I guess Larry Davis has said that Kotsay should be able to DH tomorrow.
The Angels Angels lineup looks like this:
Keep the top of the order off the board, Z.
LET'S GO A'S!!!!!!!
