The A's and Barry Zito with an 8-8 record and a 3.55 ERA take on C.C. Sabathia with a 6-7 record and a 4.70 ERA.
The A's return home after their 6-1 road trip. Tonight's game will even the Angels and A's up at 99 games a piece. So the A's will either be six down or five down.
Sabathia has been struggling since the All-Star break with an 0-2 record and a 6.55 ERA. Let's hope the A's offense continues to surge and pound Sabathia early.
The A's go with this lineup:
Macha kept to his promise and gave Kotsay another day off. Probably a good idea considering how well Kots hit yesterday.
The Tribe counters with this group:
I'm not sure if Travis Hafner isn't in the lineup because of a lefty or because he's still woozy, but either way, the A's aren't seeing the Indians best lineup.
LET'S GO A'S!!!!!!!
