Open Thread: Game 57 - A's at Washington

Let me just say, I can't stand interleague, even though it's been very good to our Athletics over the years. Personal commentary aside, the A's and Barry Zito with a 2-6 and a 4.52 ERA take on the Nationals and Tony Armas with a 1-3 record and a 5.58 ERA.

The A's go with this lineup:

Kotsay
Kendall
Chavez
Hatteberg
Crosby
Kielty
Swisher
Scutaro
Zito

The A's lose DJ's bat because of playing in a National League park. And you wonder why I don't like interleague? On the good news front, Kotsay is, in fact, healthy and on the road trip as he's starting and leading off tonight.

The Nationals counter with this group:

Wilkerson
Carroll
Guillen
Johnson
Castilla
Byrd
Bennett
Guzman
Armas
