I think this is a fairly serious play from Fremont, and one that makes a lot of sense for the A's.  My guess is that they will definitely puruse this, secretly hoping its effect lights a fire underneath the Oakland pols to get moving on something serious (p.s. the Estuary idea ain't serious - it's biding time).
