I've got to run out for a while, so I might miss the start of the game. In the the meantime, the A's and Barry Zito with a 1-5 record and a 5.17 ERA take on the Indians and Cliff Lee with a 5-2 record and a 3.69 ERA.
In May, Zito has a 3.86 ERA and has generally pitched well, minus the seven-walk game last week. This after an April with a 6.60 ERA. He seems to have gotten much better and even more confident of late. But he faces a tough challenge in Cliff Lee. Lee doesn't walk many people and pounds the strike zone.
It'll be interesting to see if DJ gets in the lineup against a tough left-hander or not. I imagine the A's will want to stack the lineup with guys who pound lefty pitching.
LET'S GO A'S!!!
