Open Thread: Game 33 - A's at Boston

The A's and Los Kirk with a 1-2 record and a 5.64 record goes against Bronson Cornrroyo with a 4-0 record and a 3.18 ERA.

Things don't look good for the A's tonight. Cornrroyo has been pitching well this season and Los Kirk has been up and down.

The A's also took a huge hit today with their bullpen ace, Kiko Calero finally went on the 15-day DL. Tim Harikkala, who has been pitching well out of the pen for the A's, joins the pen. The hope is that this isn't a long-term issue for Calero. It could be devastating for the A's pen.

The A's lineup, much discussed over the past day and a half or so, didn't really change all that much:

Kotsay
Ellis
Chavez
Durazo
Kielty
Hatteberg
Byrnes
Melhuse
Scutaro

I still like Ginter getting in the lineup more often. But I'm not the manager. I do like Kielty and Durazo moving up.

The Red Sox counter with this group:

Damon
Nixon
Ramirez
Ortiz
Millar
Varitek
Renteria
Mueller
Bellhorn

Apparently Manram didn't pop that balloon of a head last night on the Haren pitch because he's back in the lineup.

LET'S GO A'S!!!
