Chavez Golden Again

I'm really happy that Eric Chavez just won his fifth straight gold glove, but I've got to wonder, how much of this is on reputation. Chavez is still worthy mostly because of his remarkable range, but Twins outfielder Torii Hunter won a gold glove despite missing two months of the season.

That gives me an idea for a new poll (on the main page). How meaningful are the gold gloves at this point given the Hunter award and the infamous Rafael Palmeiro award a few years ago?
