White Sox World Series Champs

Anyone else think that if things had gone differently in 2001 or 2002, Jermaine Dye couldn't been the MVP for the green and gold in the World Series? It's unfortunate that his career with the A's was derailed in such fashion.

But of all the negatives of watching the White Sox win the World Series (Pierzynski, the Hawk), I have nothing but good things to say about Dye. I was never one to call for him to be brought back, so I'm definitely not going to second-guess that decision.

Congrats to Dye, who was a professional and is also a Northern California native. Hopefully, a year from today, his former team from Northern California is doing exactly what he's doing tonight.
