Game 156 Open Thread

Barry Zito with an 11-11 record and a 4.47 ERA versus Jamie "Slo-Pitch" Moyer with a 7-12 record and a 4.97 ERA.

Two pitchers who absolutely must have a home plate umpire willing to call certain pitches strikes. For Zito, he must get the curve called a strike. For Moyer, he needs the outside corner or his pitching is useless because he doesn't have the pitches to come inside.

If calls go in the pitcher's favor, this could be a low, low scoring game. If not, well, be prepared for a 7-5, 10-6 game.

Here is hoping for the good Zito to show up, not the impostor. It's currently 61 degrees near the Coliseum, so perhaps Barry will be able to keep the ball in the yard.

Crunch time is now, ladies and gentlemen. This is the end.

GO A'S!!!
