Rich Harden with a 10-6 record and a 4.06 ERA versus Kelvim Escobar with a 10-11 record and a 3.75 ERA.
Not much is left to be said because the A's are up two games with 10 to play. Six of those games will be against the Angels.
It's cliche, but the A's are now in put up or shut up time.
Harden has come up big several times this year, but nothing is as big as tonight.
Of course, unfortunately, I happen to live in Sacramento, where the game will not be televised. Perhaps that's a good thing to save my future daughter from a profanity-laced tirade if the A's lose.
