My wife and I were in New York today, so it was a strange feeling there, given that their Yankees had to watch their hated enemy win it all last night.
We purposely checked out the headlines in the NY papers, most of which were tame, but the funniest one was the Daily News, which said, "See You in 2090."
So much for being gracious in defeat.
Regardless, it's kind of sad that the Cards didn't at least make it interesting. Then again, the Sox true World Series was against the Yankees any way.
Paging Mr. Rolen...come in, Mr. Rolen.
Now, let's get back to concentrating on the green and gold.
