Roger Clemens with an 18-4 record and a 2.98 ERA versus Jeff Suppan with a 16-9 record and a 4.16 ERA.

Close that laptop and stop writing, sportswriters. Don't put that Clemens versus the Sox storyline in ink yet.

Clemens versus Suppan...Houston should book their plane tickets to Boston, right?

Not necessarily. While Suppan is 0-3 at home against the Astros this year, he's given up a grand total of seven earned runs in those games.

The chances that the Cards will explode offensively, as they often do, are high despite Clemens dominating postseason performances (I believe he's won five in a row).

Regardless, this postseason went from Worst. Postseason. Ever. to an immortal one in an Ortiz swing of the bat and a brilliant Backe performance.
