New York Yankees at Boston Red Sox, 2 p.m. PST

Mike Mussina with a 12-9 record and a 4.59 ERA versus Pedro "Who's My Daddy?" Martinez with a 16-9 record and a 3.90 ERA.

St. Louis Cardinals at Houston Astros, 5 p.m. PST

Woody Williams with an 11-8 record and a 4.18 ERA versus Brandon Backe with a 5-3 record and a 4.30 ERA.

So, will the Sox have the greatest comeback in sports history as the fans seemed to suggest last night? I'm guessing that if the Sox win the next two, they lose Game 7 on a bottom of the ninth inning home run by Miguel Cairo. Because it's always painful and it's always the irrelevant player to come through.

As for the NLCS, it's too bad that Houston doesn't have any other starting pitching outside of Oswalt and Clemens because this could've been interesting. And Carlos Beltran is proving that he is something truly special by performing at that level on this stage.
