Susan Slusser wrote a piece today about Jason Giambi's lost season.
Toward the end of the piece, she threw out the idea that Giambi could possibly be moved by Steinbrenner, who is likely frustrated by the lack of return on his significant investment. She then brought up the possibility of Giambi winding up back in Oakland with New York picking up the majority of the tab.
Despite the remote possibility, I don't think it's a bad idea. Giambi is worth the chance, especially if we got him at little to no cost.
I was wondering how you feel about this possibility. Would AN welcome Giambi back with open arms? Or, is he now forever that clean-shaven sellout hawking deodorant?
