Bench Crosby?  He's a bust - dating back to his injury days and the way he approaches the plate, his confidence, etc.  Today is pretty brutal too.

I sure would have felt better seeing Scooter in the positions he was put into today.

Why is there a laptop in the kitchen?

It reminds me of a story my friend told me when he worked in a computer repair shop.

A customer brought her computer in and said it was having problems. When they opened the case, it was filthy inside it. There were tons of bugs, spiders, and even cockroaches! So they decided to do a special favor and vacuum it all out and clean it up, then they fixed the computer.

When they told the customer, she said "oh that makes sense, we keep  the computer in on the kitchen counter."

Gross.

ok. Felix was terrific

and Haren pitched well from what I've heard (having missed innings 3-6).

What exactly was the sequence in the bottom of the sixth? Did the Mariners score all their runs in that inning? How did Crosby's error lead to the runs?

Yeah, I know, I can read throught the entire game thread. But I'd appreciate just a recap of the run scoring.

thanks!

by OaklandSi on Apr 2, 2007 5:54 PM PDT reply actions

No error=no runs

The quick answer is that without the error, the M's would not have scored. Bobby's error allowed the bases to become loaded, then a sac fly (that would have been the third out) and then Sexson hits a three-run homer.

by cptranman on Apr 2, 2007 5:57 PM PDT up reply actions

Comebacker to Haren,

perfect throw to Crosby at 2nd...and he missed the ball, loading the bases.  Sac Fly, 2-out 3-run homer.
