  • Start Crosby, telling his team that he's behind them no matter what.

Bench Crosby?  He's a bust - dating back to his injury days and the way he approaches the plate, his confidence, etc.  Today is pretty brutal too.

Why is there a laptop in the kitchen?

It reminds me of a story my friend told me when he worked in a computer repair shop.

A customer brought her computer in and said it was having problems. When they opened the case, it was filthy inside it. There were tons of bugs, spiders, and even cockroaches! So they decided to do a special favor and vacuum it all out and clean it up, then they fixed the computer.

When they told the customer, she said "oh that makes sense, we keep  the computer in on the kitchen counter."

No error=no runs

The quick answer is that without the error, the M's would not have scored. Bobby's error allowed the bases to become loaded, then a sac fly (that would have been the third out) and then Sexson hits a three-run homer.

Comebacker to Haren,

perfect throw to Crosby at 2nd...and he missed the ball, loading the bases.  Sac Fly, 2-out 3-run homer.

You guys remember the 14-inning (?) game in Seattle where Street blew the comebacker that would have ended it?

I know this team will not commit 324 errors and I know that they will not score 0 runs while striking out 1,944 times.  The only direction left for this team is up.

P.S. Zito gave up 15 runs last year to the Yanks on opening day. Where did the team end up then?

What is with the chick on M's Live?

They show the "box score" of the Mariners and raves about how great they were, then they show the A's "box" and she makes fun of the o-fers. What the heck? The Mariners didn't get any more hits than the A's, and two of the A's hits were for extra bases! What a blatant homer.

She pretty much ruined it for me with her antics when we clinched in Seattle last year.  Not really, but she's about as unprofessional as they come.
