Goodbye Brad Halsey...
Don't let the bullpen door hit you in the ass on the way out...

Just read the story about Brad Halsey and wanted to say goodbye Brad, thanks for all your hard work. Now, we just wait and watch the wire to see who Billy trades the malcontent for.
Or, maybe as punishment for insubordination, they just leave him to languish in Cow Town.
Either way, you don't pull on Superman's cape and not expect some kind of reaction.
And as a fan, I want to personally say to you Mr. Brad Halsey "Thank You" for shattering my little illusion, for raising the curtain to show me that the "Great Oz" is merely a man. Basically, I want to watch "the show" on the field, I want to live and die by each pitch, by what happens on the field, not be reminded that this is just a dirty little business. Thanks, but I have "dirty little business" everyday in my life and come to you to escape, not hear about your crap. I pay you to entertain me. I don't pay you to hear your petty gripes. You signed the contract: throw the ball, or ask to be traded like a man. To go to the press and make yourself look like a ass while sullying my beloved organization is inexcusable.
Here is what I hope happens to you...
I hope you are traded.
Bye Bye.
Then you can take your sub-par stuff to another organization where they are not as rich in talent, then you can stand out.
Good bye you whiner.

He won't be traded.
He'll sit put. No value in him right now.
Oh, and on behalf of 'the Great Oz', I never claimed to be anything more than a man.
In other words, I'm no woman.

It's ironic that for a man to be something more...

i don't care
so he got pissed off and ranted. if he can become a better pitcher and help the A's, i'll be happy to cheer for him and i hope that BB is a big enough person to let that happen. trading out of spite is not a good idea. i don't want to see BB go all Al Davis vengeful and stupid.

Halsey
had his chance. If he was a commodity, he would have been called up. He is not so he sits.
