This year was pretty sweet. It feels better than, say, 2003, cuz it's been 3 years since we've been. Plus, I think this team, if the starting pitching comes back, has a real good chance in the playoffs; at full health we're as good as anyone out there. I've been a hardcore fan since I was six and they lost the World Series in 1988, and while I expected this before the season, it still feels very good. I can't wait til Tuesday!

I'm glad the Mariners won last night.  We were playing to clinch, and they salvaged some pride.  Had we clinched last night, and they won tonight, it would have been a hollow victory.

Perfect timing too.  All the starters get one easy start.  They all need a rest, but not so much rest as to get out of sorts.  I think there's a good chance that the team can re-peak at the right time.

he spoke about how he knew he
was finally at home when he hit the walkoff against the Blue Jays (AN Day!) and he felt the acceptance by the fans. He talked about how when he doesn't do well he can't sleep, because he loves his teammates and he wants to give his best all the time. He especially mentioned how Frank, Swish, and Macha pick him up when he gets down.

It's been such a special year...with guys like Milton and Thomas finding new homes and being comfortable and happy.
