ANtics Episode 2.28: Dome and Domer

While firmly entrenched in the lead in the AL West, the A's have headed East to do battle with the Devil Rays and Twins. Both teams feature indoor stadiums, which we have seen can have some interesting effects on a ballgame. With that in mind, the ANtics present "Dome and Domer".

Dome only if it's geodesic

I want a full Buckminster Fuller style geodesic dome. Round, globular, full of hippies on a houseboat in the bay Buckminster Fuller Geodesic dome.

(And yes, there used to be one in Sausalito.)

If I remember correctly, the fan ran onto the field as the A's were hi-fiving each other or just afterwards. Any indication given in the ANtics that Loaiza interacted with or was involved with the fan is incorrect and misleading or potentially coincidental.

The only dome we want to see

Is Frank Thomas's shiny head.
Mind you, as a native Minnesotan, I can tell you that Opening Day at the old Metropolitan Stadium was not always pleasant. Snow and baseball do not go together. But the Metrodome sucks. The planned new Twins stadium should be a great improvement.
