Awwww
That is adorable! I assume there's a sweet story behind that.

Not really sweet as much as obsessed
I went to pick him up, but Macha said he was busy washing his hair or something like that and couldn't go out. I think it was an excuse...oh well. I'm thinking it might be a legal binding document...it's signed and there were witnesses

I'm just trying to figure out
which lines are which letters. That signature's freaking insane.

And as I type this, Giambi homers in the 10th and Coco Crisp broke his wrist on the wall. OK, so he didn't break it, but the ball did hit his glove and bounce out.

The Boston Massacre continues...
I don't know that it really bounced OUT off his glove, more like ticked off the end of it...

Can we get some other pics?
we're not a 1 photo type of blog.  Preferably some containing females in the 20-28 age range.

An old Stew sighting
Many years ago, when Dave Stewart was pitching for the A's, I saw him at a nightclub in Oakland.  (My friend dragged me over to him and said, "I want you to meet my friend, who abandons me for six months out of every year to watch you guys play!")  We talked for a few minutes and I asked him if he wanted to dance.  He said that his knee was hurting (it turned out he had knee surgery a couple of weeks later), and I asked him for a "rain check."  I saw him again a month or two later, at an autograph session, and he signed the photo with "It was nice meeting you.  IOU."

I haven't collected yet, but one of these days I just might.

Got to get that sign smaller
for this thread, but it was a great time, and very nice meeting more A's fans.  I didn't pass out and miss strippers this time around, so I don't have anything too interesting to add.  Except that I learned that no matter what, spring training is something I need to do.  Now, if we could only some pictures of Swish walking around with the Macha mask, or the video, that would be awesome.  Look forward to seeing everyone again some time, and meeting more people next year.
