First, let me apologize for the late debut of the ANtics this evening. I had suffered an injury to my non-typing hand when Robinson Cano posed as the delivery person for Safeway.com and ambushed me in my home. The good news was that the umpire ruled I was enabled to a $10 discount as the runner had gone out of the baseline. Speaking of which, this week's episode of the ANtics focuses on Ken Macha and the team's approach to shortstop Bobby Crosby's apparent fragility, in a piece titled "Crosby Wellness Clinic 101"! May we never have to create an upper division course with the same name...

I've never said this about these cartoons before, but the fuckin' ROCK!!! I don't particularly like swearing on AN, but to hell with it, this [stuff] rules. This is what makes this site the raddest baseball site on the net.

That is great!

I love it. I shouldn't! I should be defending my boy, saying he is not that fragile and he will be fine, but this was just too funny! Sometimes, even I have to fold and say, "Ok, I give, my boy is breakable!"

At least we can all find the humor in it, and you did that perfectly! I just hope that if Bobby sees this, he sees the comedy in it too, and can have a good laugh at himself!

Note to Self: Opening Day 2007, wrap Bobby in Bubble Wrap for the week!

No - didn't expect any

Furious George... while it was a blast to talk to Billy Beane, Chavez and Zito, even for a second, around the ANtics, I didn't expect an outpouring of response, adoration, what have you. These are public folks who'd like to keep their lives private if possible, so I'm not expecting a one to one response - e-mail, phone, etc.

I was happy just to share. Any more response than that borders on fantasy. (Which is part of being a fan)
